Little League Softball

Whether you are looking to compete against neighboring leagues or international countries, Little League is more than an organization, it’s a community softball program dedicated to providing a premier softball experience for every girl.

The Little League Softball® program includes divisions for all girls ages, 6–16. With the proven structure, it allows organizations to offer a youth softball program to serve every child in the community. In addition to on-field fundamentals and providing a competitive environment, Little League Softball uses the sport to strengthen participants’ self-esteem and confidence.

Little League Softball® strengthens self-esteem, promotes teamwork and sportsmanship, and develops on-field fundamentals while providing a competitive outlet for girls.

Founded in 1974, the program has more than 25,000 softball teams and 300,000 participants worldwide. Working to grow the game of softball at the grassroots level, Little League® has collaborated with more than 25 countries to create a foundation for success. Little League Softball includes divisions of play for girls ages 4 to 16, which culminates at three Softball World Series.

Aside from teaching the sport of softball, Little League prides itself on strengthening player self-esteem, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship, and developing leaders.

Little League brings communities together and offers a premier softball experience to families in the U.S. and around the world.

All of our Rutland Little League Softball divisions will play here in town as well as travel to surrounding cities and towns in the District 4 Little League Softball program.
