On Saturday March 18th, we will be having evaluations for 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 year olds for Baseball, and Minors and Juniors levels for Softball at separate times at CTMS gym (Central Tree Middle School). The following is the schedule for evaluations:
8am - 9am: Softball Minors
9am - 10am: Softball Juniors
10am - 11am: 8 yrs being evaluated for AAA Baseball
11am - 12pm: 9 yr olds for AAA
12pm - 1pm: 10 yr olds for AAA
1:30pm - 2:30pm: 11 yr olds for LL
2:30pm - 3:30pm: 12 yr olds for LL
Please note the player evaluation is not a tryout. Everyone makes a team. We use the evaluation to try to competitively balance our teams. Players should wear comfortable clothes to the evaluation (running pants or shorts with tee shirt or sweat shirt). Sneakers should be worn..... no cleats are allowed in the gym. Players should only bring their glove. No bats are allowed. RLLB will supply bats, balls, and helmets. Parents are not allowed in the gym during the evaluation. Only head coaches and RLLB Board members are allowed in the gym.
We encourage all players to attend the evaluations, but if your child cannot make the evaluation please let us know by email.
